Howard Hunt, PGA
– Golf Course Manager
Howard is from Farmville, NC, which is in the eastern part of the state. Howard graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Turfgrass Management in 1990, and began his career in the golf industry as the Assistant Golf Professional / Course Superintendent at Farmville C.C. in 1990. He became the Head Professional / Course Superintendent at Scotfield C.C. in 1994, and has been the General Manager of Southern Wayne C.C., in Mount Olive, NC for the past 12 years.
He is married to Tina Davis of Rocky Mount, NC, and they have three sons – Alex, Bobby, and Ethan.
Howard is very excited to be a part of the Tarpon Springs family. He is looking forward to using his experience and knowledge to improve the course and offer exceptional customer service. See you on the first tee!
Jim Campbell, PGA - Head Golf Professional
Jim comes to Tarpon Springs from Cape Cod, Massachusetts where he has lived and worked for the last 25 years. He graduated from Mississppi State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. Before Cape Cod, Jim worked in Pittsburgh,PA and Naples FL as an Assistant Professional. On Cape Cod, he was the Head Professional at Cape Cod National Golf Club for 20 years and Blue Rock Golf Course for 6 years.
He and his wife, Joelle, have 5 boys between them.........Dan, Charlie, Johnny, Will and Jeffrey. Joelle is a 3rd grade teacher at Richey Elementary school. They are very exited to be relocating to Florida and become part of the Tarpon Springs family. When Jim and Joelle are not working, they enjoy spending time with their family.......... walking the dogs, fishing and exploring their new area.
